RJ broke down my swing to ensure the proper fundamentals. I noticed results after only a few lessons with a straighter ball flight, longer distance and lower rounds. I would highly recommend RJ’s patient and knowledgeable teaching style to both the beginner and the advanced player.

RJ is truly a magician. He was able, in a short period of time, to “magically” help me reduce my handicap from 20 to 16. RJ knows the techniques of the game and how to concisely explain them. After analyzing my swing, he patiently devised a plan of attack that was easy to understand and implement.

RJ began giving me golf lessons in the fall of ’09. I had never swung a golf club in the past but within several lessons, RJ had me hitting the ball beyond my expectations. RJ began instructing me by teaching me the golf basics – different types of clubs and when to use, parts of a club and how they work in conjunction with your body, and golf etiquette. RJ laid out and instructional plan and explained the reasoning behind the plan which gave me greater confidence as I began to progress in my lessons and abilities. RJ went above and beyond, when I went to purchase my first set of clubs, by accompanying me to the store and working to get the “best fit” clubs for my level of play.

The level of instruction that RJ has given me has exceeded my expectations for many reasons. What I believe sets RJ apart, is his patient and calming approach and his keen ability to relate to the challenges that come with being a beginning golfer. RJ’s low-key approach, which has allowed me to make and learn from my mistakes, has steadily helped build the confidence necessary to build my golf swing. I would highly recommend RJ for the beginner or the person looking to improve his or her game.

The instruction was great. I really enjoyed and benefitted from what you presented so far. I’ve had some instruction in the past two years, but no one was able to explain chipping in a way that I was able to develop any consistency with. I feel the pointers you gave, have me finally feeling like I have a repeatable rhythm with chipping.
